Egg Washing Brushes - Applications

To provide an illustration of our brushes in egg washer applications we provide examples below, but there are countless equipment plans and we design brushes to any specification.

THE APPLICATION 1

A conveyor line with rotary brushes and sprayers, underneath is a receptacle catching the fluid - eggs move through the cleaning line.

THE BRUSH PROCESS

Brushes are above the eggs, above the brushes are sprayers; in other designs the sprayers are located horizontally next to the brush so it alternates brush spray, brusy, spray. Pub No. US2013 0074877

BRUSH DIMENSIONS

Brush sizes vary depending on the application. Select longer filament for more careful treatment to eggs.

THE APPLICATION 2

Another conveyor application, eggs move forward and strip brushes clean.

BRUSH PROCESS

Strip brushes mounted at a 30 to 45 degree angle on conveyor equipment oscillate over eggs.

BRUSH DIMENSIONS

Brush dimensions vary according to equipment specifications. However, a popular filament length for this application is 3 inches. This filament is lengthier for delicate egg washing.

ADDITIONAL BRUSH USE

The egg drop.

BRUSH PROCESS

Brushes are transported on conveyor line and then dropped between two rotating brushes. Eggs are carefully set down by extended filament.
